The bedstead is simple and well-defined, high but almost touching the floor. The head-board creates an overlapping effect, of unaligned wings like the ones found in Japanese theatre.
The structure is deliberately simple and the proportions restrained, but the movable roll cushion which sits up against the headboard is a touch of luxury and gives the bed an ultra-contemporary look. Frick has clean, light but poetic lines.
